Ravi Kaiut to teach masterclasses, workshop in St. Louis — Sept. 17-21, 2025
Ravi Kaiut, the son of Francisco Kaiut, is an incredibly inspiring young man. At the age of four, Ravi was diagnosed with a degenerative genetic disease that reduces blood flow to the hip joint, causing degeneration.
This condition typically occurs during childhood. When these individuals reach adulthood, they may require a hip replacement or experience arthritis and pain. Because Ravi’s father Francisco understood the condition well and had the foresight to work with Ravi as a child, Ravi has never needed surgery.
Ravi entered and won numerous bodybuilding championships in Brazil, ultimately placing third in the world. It would have been easy for Ravi to perceive himself as someone with a limp who couldn’t accomplish anything. Instead, he chose the opposite. He accepted his situation, dedicated himself to hard work, and went on to win awards while walking without a limp or pain.
